|7 Art/Sculpture Robotic Exhibit: The
Art of Impermanence [2 ft. x 2 ft. x 2 ft. sculpture capability]
- in progress
The "Art of Impermanence" project allows participants to go online and design a 3D sculpture, which is then built layer-by-layer from beeswax by a robotic arm. Each child's (or adult's) physical sculpture is exhibited for a short time, and then is replaced by the next artist's vision. The project not only serves as a fun project that kids can play with, but is also an investigation into the Buddhist's view of impermanence.
